Ugh, the biggest issue I have being a female who reads comics is having people constantly assume I like things solely because of the movies, especially anything that came out recently or is coming out soon (Avengers, Batman, Spiderman, ect.) Even things like Watchmen, V for Vendetta or Kickass. Just because I have a vagina doesn’t meant I can’t read.
